Here is a simple and straight forward Guide on How to Install and Run Google Maps API v2 Sample Code. STEP ( 1 ) Preparing your Emulator "AVD" In Order to Run the Sample Code, you will need to have Google Play Services installed in you "AVD", but due to Google Privacy and Security Reasons it is not Allowed to Install Google Play and you will not be able to even add your Google account, here is a workaround to make it happen. ubuntu | vscode | remove window title bar

Hide Title Bar if your using vscode in ubuntu, you might notice the big title bar and if you want to remove it here is how you can do that go to "File → Preferences → Settings" and then search for "title", you will find the "window:title bar style" section change the selected value to "custom", it will ask you to restart, do that and the title will no longer be visible and this is how it will look without the title bar
